The Story

Presented at cask strength, this 2024 limited release blends Kilchoman's classic peat smoke with deeper ripeness and spice from a trio of cask types.

After maturing in re-charred red wine barrels, Oloroso Sherry butts and ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is bottled at 57% with no chill filtration, capturing its raw intensity.

Production: Barley-to-bottle spirit is matured on site in a balanced mix of re-charred red wine casks, sherry butts and bourbon barrels, then bottled uncut at 57% ABV.

Pairing Suggestions: Powerful enough for dark chocolate truffles and coffee-rubbed steak, yet also a bold match to blue cheeses and glazed pork belly.

Tasting Note: On the nose, bold red fruits and heather blossom meet dense peat smoke. The palate reveals salted caramel, vanilla bean, clove and toasted oak, with a long warming smoke-laden finish.

Origin: Islay, Scotland

Alcohol: 57.0%
