ECMS XXIV. Just released, a brand new Cask Strength rum from the wonderful Foursquare Distillery!
A blend of heavy and light marques rums distilled in both copper pots and twin column stills of Foursquare Distillery, this 12-Year-Old has been matured entirely in American oak ex-Bourbon casks.
A familiar return of the Foursquare house style, this gorgeous, powerful rum has zesty lemon citrus, rich caramel, white chocolate, fresh ginger and dried coconut on the nose. The palate is all treacle tart, vanilla ice cream & poached summer fruits. The long, warming finish brings a nice lick of fresh ginger, cherry and plums, and a touch of peppery spice.
