The Story

Part of the 2022 Winter Release, this single cask of "Williamson" (named for Bettie Williamson of a famous Islay Distillery...) began ageing in an American oak hogshead before transfer into an ex-Moscatel sherry cask for finishing. Its beautiful dark colour gives a hint to the rich, fruity, sultana-rich flavours contained within, wrapped up in swirling bonfire smoke and all that iodine-y, mineral peat. Bottled at cask strength for full impact, this stunning dram will warm the soul.
