The Story

It's rare to find Irish Whiskey matured for this long before release, particularly Single Malts which have enjoyed their 18 long years in such a broad mixture of casks.  This extended maturation in barrels imparts richly spiced, sherry-soaked raisin notes to the Tullamore D.E.W. 18, along with cinnamon pastries, toasted vanilla and zesty orange.  There are soft apple fruits on the palate with added raisins and a toasted rye bread spice on the caramel-sweet finish.
