Casks:  Ex-bourbon casks & Spanish Oak

Tasting Note:  The highlight of any Pulteney tasting is the phenomenal 25-Year-Old.  Rich, complex and utterly beautiful, this maritime malt offers dark cherry and tropical fruits initially, then melted mars rice crispy squares topped with chunky sea salt, and finally an air-cured meats and leathery spice.  The palate is simply delicious.  And the finish epitomizes all the excellence of Old Pulteney; sweet, gently salty, and a touch of peppercorn.  An incredible dram of whisky.
