The Story

Frapin 1270 Cognac is a refined introduction to the house of Frapin, created in honour of the family’s arrival in Segonzac in 1270. Produced exclusively from estate-grown grapes in the heart of Grande Champagne, Premier Cru, this cognac is harvested, distilled on fine lees and aged entirely at the estate. It captures both heritage and versatility, offering a smooth style that is equally suited to sipping neat or mixing into elegant cocktails.

Pairing Suggestions:

This cognac is best enjoyed neat as a refined digestif, yet it also shines as an aperitif when paired with tonic water, sparkling water or simply served over ice. It complements light canapés, soft cheeses and fruit-based desserts, while also acting as a versatile base for sophisticated cocktails.

Tasting Notes:

Frapin 1270 Cognac reveals a luminous straw yellow colour with golden highlights. The nose offers aromas of vine flower and linden blossom, delicately underpinned by subtle vanilla from its time in oak. On the palate it is rounded and balanced, with flavours of toasted bread, soft vanilla and gentle sweetness that lead into a lingering, harmonious finish.
