The Story

Domaine Dupont is situated in the heart of the Pays d'Auge. Their Calvados is beautifully crafted bring both aromatic complexity and velvety mouthfeel. This is achieved by blending 3 types of apple from the orchards: sweet, bitter and apples with high acidity. Cider destined to become calvados is aged six months on its lees to enrich its aromatic expressiveness of the final Calvados.  The VSOP is aged for 5 years in oak barrels, 25% of which are new oak. 

Intense and soft, with toasted oak, liquorice, vanilla sugar and fresh apple and pear fruit. A sweet, soft and juicy palate with added notes of soft almond and hay.
