An amazing collaboration between two of our favourite spirits producers: Christian Drouin Calvados & Foursquare Rum!
This 8th release in the Drouin 'Expérimental' series sees delicious Calvados finished for 17 months in 8 ex-Foursquare Rum casks, capturing the rich, warming, sweet spice of the finest Bajan rum.
Our expectations were high for this amazing bottle, and thankfully when we tried it recently it blew us away!
Intense and aromatic, there's roasted apples dusted with cinnamon and brown sugar, salted caramel, pear drops, a touch of green pineapple, milk chocolate, vanilla essence, and a toasty nutty background. It's soft and supple, whilst still carry a great whack of flavour that we adored.
